The place you choose to hold your wedding celebration becomes the canvas on which you’ll be painting your happy memories. It’s a big decision, and one that will set the tone for many more of the choices you make when planning your perfect day.

At Barns & Yard, we’ve created a space that offers all the comforts of a contemporary venue fused with the history and romance of ancient barns.   

We want you to feel right at home here, so our barns and cottages are available for two-night exclusive private hire, allowing you to settle in and feel relaxed and ready to celebrate the way you deserve to.

The renovation of the barns and cottages has been a real labour of love, and we’re so proud of the finished result. The spaces are simple but beautiful, with scrubbed oak beams, dark grey flagstones or warm oak floorboards, and lots of clean lines, large windows and contemporary design touches.

You can put your own stamp on each of the spaces, whether your preference is for simple elegance, artful quirk, or all-out opulence. We are licensed for civil ceremonies, so you can choose to have your whole day with us, or else head over to Barns & Yard for a serious party after a ceremony at one of the stunning local churches.  

We can accommodate up to 100 guests for a seated wedding breakfast in the barns, with an additional 30 for your evening reception, and there’s sleeping space for up to 10 in our three gorgeous cottages.  

Transform our woodland walkway into an enchanted forest, hold your ceremony overlooking the lake, say your vows amid hundreds of years of history in the rustic barns, or dance in the colourful wildness of our flower meadow. We believe in a highly flexible and personalised service – you’re free to plan your day your way, down to the tiniest detail.

CEREMONIES

We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies, with several lovely spaces available for you to choose from. Inside, there’s the majestic oak Threshing Barn or the the light-filled Cartshed, both of which can seat 100 guests. Outside, you can seat 100 guests in our landscaped Courtyard, as you stand beneath the stalls to say your vows. 

The shores of our lake or our woodland glade make for the most magical of settings for a ceremony for both civil or celebrant led wedding. For ceremonies with fewer than 30 guests, the shaded island boardwalk is one of the most romantic and unique spots within the grounds to say ‘I do’.

If you would prefer to use our venue for your reception only, and have a church ceremony first, there are several beautiful country churches in and around our local villages. Great Malvern is home to the majestic Priory and Little Malvern Priory, an absolute gem, nestled on the slopes of the Malvern Hills only five minutes drive from Barns & Yard.
