Bluebell Wood Inspiration for Spring Weddings

A Spring wedding signifies the start of new beginnings, with its dainty blooms springing to life all around us. Our whimsical bluebell woods provide a romantic setting for couples to take full advantage of the beauty of this season & a quiet moment captured together for the photo album.

Our seasonal shoot with Jenny Fleur, Theresa Furey and Gemma Hull, was full of the magic of nature. Capturing the natural essence of the woodland, combined with seasonal blooms & a bohemian gown.

‘Using seasonal ingredients is at the heart of all my floral designs. As well as being better for the environment I believe using seasonal ingredients results in arrangements which look natural, harmonious and evocative of a particular time of year. By including seasonal flowers in your wedding, you'll be reminded of your wedding day when you see those flowers reappear with their season.’ Explained Jeni, Jenny Fleur Florist.

‘The swathes of beautiful bluebells in the woodlands at Barns & Yard are the total epitome of Spring so I created a bouquet which highlighted their stunning colour by using just whites and greens in a loose, natural style to go with the woodland setting. As well as the bluebells I used anemones, ranunculi, hellebores, tulips, spirea and cherry blossom - all at their best during April so it was truly a seasonal bouquet.’ Continued Jeni.
